Sorrel Schreibvogel has only completed a run-in pattern in competition one other time, so she admitted to a little trepidation prior to Sunday’s ancillary youth classes at the SWRHA Futurity. However, those concerns were for naught, as she and her horse, Sparkin Affair, marked a 72.5 to not only tie for the win of both the Youth 14-18 [2] and Unrestricted Youth [2], but to also tie for the high point buckle in the 14-18.
“I was a little worried about it, but he was very good today. My favorite thing is stopping on him. He’s also so honest and very consistent,” Schriebvogel said of Sparkin Affair, an 11-year-old by Shining Spark out of Memorable Affair.
She added, “I thank my grandparents and the Yonathan Baruch team, and everyone who helped me.”
