Spooks Golden Tune and Shauna Larcome secured themselves two Co-Championships at the SWRHA Futurity Wednesday afternoon, cruising to a 72 and earning a total of $688.
“She’s a four-year-old buckskin mare that I’ve trained since the beginning of her three-year-old year,” Larcombe said. “We’re getting her ready to do the affiliate finals at the [National Reining Horse Association] Futurity in the Novice Horse.”
The consistency of the daughter of Spooks Gotta Whiz has Larcombe planning on increasing her training intensity between now and the November show. The mare is out of HA Lenas Tune and is owned by Sandra and Angelina Widmoser
“I want to thank the horse, she’s a fun horse to show. She’s really sweet, really easygoing. Never any trouble, she’s a nice-to-ride horse,” Larcombe said.
