The Southwest Reining Horse Association Futurity and Horse Show is in full swing. The Hardy Murphy Coliseum in Ardmore, Okla., is bustling with activity, and the second day of National Reining Horse Association-approved classes is in the books.

The 2019 Southwest Reining Horse Association Futurity and Horse Show kicked off its 35th Anniversary on Tuesday, October 22, with the Novice Horse Open and Non Pro Levels 1 & 2. Trevor Dare Wins Nov. Horse Open Levels 1 & 2 on Jerseys Baby Driver With a score of 73.5, Trevor Dare and Jerseys Baby Driver bested the field of 95 in the Novice Horse Open Levels 1 & 2.

Introducing the Masters Non Pro Challenge at the SWRHA Futurity Show

Along with the great futurity, the “Southwest” as it is affectionally called, is known for being innovative and fun. That should be the case for Friday night, October 25 when the Masters Non Pro Challenge makes it debut. The winner of this event for riders age 60 and Over will receive a trophy saddle and other special prizes!
