Clay Anthony and Inwhizable Willy made the most of their first show day ever at the SWRHA Futurity Ride And Slide Non Pro, winning the Ride and Slide Level 1 [1] Championship with a 70.5.
“I didn’t think I was nervous, but I was. It [went] good. We made the pattern and didn’t mark a zero so I was pretty happy with that for my first time,” Anthony said.
Inwhizable Willy is a seven-year-old gelding sired by Inwhizable and out of Mega Tucker.
“It’s always fun to say different things with [his name]. When he was a three-year-old my wife and I started him, and he was a ‘willy’ pain in the butt. But now he’s ‘willy’ nice. Kind of just goes with the name,” Anthony said.
According to Anthony, the Ride And Slide Class is a great option for beginner riders who want to get in the show pen.
“I want to thank my wife and all the trainers that help me out everywhere; Sebastian, Kole Price, Wade McDonald, and also thanks to the good Lord above,” Anthony said.
