SWRHA Year-End Champions and Reserve Champions to Receive Custom Skyline Buckles & Pocketknives

Posted on January 8, 2024 by Stevie White

Each year, Southwest Reining Horse Association members accumulate points for year-end titles by showing at SWRHA-approved events. After the year closes, members are rewarded for the points they gained at the annual SWRHA Party of Champions to be held for this year’s champions on February 9, 2024, at the White Horse Steakhouse at the Oak Meadow Ranch in Valley View, Texas.

Each year-end champion will receive custom Skyline Silversmiths trophy buckles, and the reserve champions will receive uniquely engraved Skyline Silversmiths pocketknives.

The officers of the SWRHA board of directors understand how hard members work to reach these accomplishments and are proud of the awards that the association can offer. SWRHA President Jennifer Anderson said, “We are so thankful for all our members and appreciate all their support. The SWRHA is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of the breeding, training, and

exhibition of the reining horse. Founded in 1984, the Southwest Reining Horse Association has been a

leader in creativity. It holds the claim for the creation of the very first stallion service auction and the

Ride and Slide class. Recently, it has hosted other innovative classes like the Rookie Challenge and the

Masters and Platinum Shootouts. With imaginative fundraisers like the SWRHA Boot Camp, and SWRHA

Trainers Calendar, the SWRHA has grown into one of the top affiliates of the National Reining Horse
