Spook Lil Whiz blew Rodrigo Nieves away with his performance in the SWRHA Billingsley Ford Open Futurity, marking a 226 and bringing home both the Level 3 Co-Championship and Level 2 Championship.
“I started riding [him] at the end of the last year. Eduardo rode before, he rode this horses’ mom. We have an angel when we go in [the pen],” Nieves said.
“I’m so happy with him, this is my first show with him. I’m really impressed – he did the best. I try a little bit and he goes hard. He does everything for me. I like it!” Nieves said.
The pair finished Reserve Co-Champions in the Level 4 Futurity, too. In total, Spook Lil Whiz (Spooks Gotta Whiz x Lil Dreamer) added $24,418 to his ledger.
“I want to say thank you to Fernando’s team. It’s been a great year, he’s a great person. I want to say thank you to my wife, my family and all my customers and friends,” Nieves said.
