Antonio Hernandes and Gunna Be Hollywood have been consistent in the Ride and Slide classes, picking up titles on Friday and Saturday at the SWRHA Futurity.
“He’s a show horse. He’s been good every time I’ve had to make him be ready and I think he’s going to be a good [show horse],” Hernandez said of Gunna Be Hollywood. “I think he’s getting better in the show pen. He’s gaining confidence and that’s why I think he’s stepping up every time he comes to the show.”
Marking a 72.5, the son of Hollywood Dun It and out of Gunna Be Sassy has been showing Hernandez what he can do.
“I’ve been riding him for about three months now. He’s been good, he’s a little green but he’s been good,” Fernandez said.
According to Hernandez, getting to talk to the judges about their runs afterwards was a huge benefit to the Ride and Slide class exhibitors.
“I want to thank the McCutcheons, all of them, for helping me. And the owners for letting me ride their horses and trusting [me],” Hernandez said.
