Clay Anthony and Inwhizable Willy wrapped up their first show together at the SWRHA Futurity with a Co-Championship in the second slate of the Ride and Slide Non Pro Level 2, bringing home the Level 2 Highpoint award.
“I went out on that first run today and had a few bobbles, a few mistakes. It was more my fault but that’s probably because of my experience. My second run I tried not to overpower anything, just let it fall into place,” Anthony said.
The smooth-and-steady tactic led the pair to a score of 70.5, earnings them a buckle and plaque. Inwhizable Willy is a seven-year-old gelding sired by Inwhizable and out of Mega Tucker. He had a career in the ranch riding classes before coming to the reining with Anthony.
“I want to thank my wife again for getting everything tuned up for me, as well as my trainer Sebastian Petroll, Melanie Petroll, Kole Price, and Wade McDonald. I want to thank my sponsors, Anthony Ranch Construction for helping me get down the road,” Anthony said.
