The Southwest Reining Horse Association Futurity and Show presented by Billingsley
Ford, regularly one of the top five events on the National Reining Horse Association's yearly schedule, returns October 21-26 to the Hardy Murphy Coliseum in Ardmore, Oklahoma.

According to SWRHA Immediate Past President Jack Covington, the 2014 Open division of the headline Futurity is sponsored by Pettit Machinery and John Deere for the second consecutive year. Covington said, "Pettit Machinery is a great local partner for us, and of course, we are very happy to be paired with a quality company like John Deere! They have definitely become part of the Southwest Reining Horse Association Family!"

Dwight Ange, John Deere Corporate Business Account Manager - Equine, said, "Since the introduction of our first steel plow over 175 years ago, the horse has been an influential part of John Deere's heritage. Our commitment to horses and the land has never changed and we are proud to be the Official Equipment Supplier of the Southwest Reining Horse Association."

"Of course John Deere green is already a favorite color with the reining world in Texas and Oklahoma," noted Cheryl Cody of the Southwest Reining Horse Association Futurity Management Team. "From the tractors used to drag the arenas during the futurity to the rigs that people own at their own facilities - John Deere is the top choice for equipment! She added, "The special TS Gator from John Deere and Pettit Machinery will go to the Open Futurity Champion again this year."
