Southwest Reining Horse Association Futurity and Show Continues Partnership with Billingsley Ford
2014-07-30
The Southwest Reining Horse Association Futurity and Show presented by
Billingsley Ford will return October 21-26 to the Hardy Murphy Coliseum in Ardmore,
Oklahoma.

Two years ago, Billingsley Ford of Ardmore increased its long-time support of the
annual show and became the presenting sponsor of the event. It's a fitting match as
Billingsley supplies pickups to many of the reining industry's top trainers.

The SWRHA Futurity and Show presented by Billingsley Ford will
feature $114,000added in 2014, keeping its position as one of the reining industry's most
important fall events and a great prelude to the NRHA Futurity which follows just a month
later.

"We have been and continue to be proud to partner with Billingsley Ford," said
SWRHA President Ann Salmon. "We want to keep doing a good job of presenting the
Billingsley brand to the reining world and invite everyone to take time to look at the
vehicles displayed at the event!"

Billingsley Ford Truck Sales Manager Donnie Gillham and point man Patrick
Welch have been strong supporters of the Southwest Reining Horse Association and its
members. When the decision was made to focus on just one discipline several years ago,
the reining industry, specifically the Southwest Reining Horse Association Futurity, was
Billingsley's choice and, in turn, the reiners have supported Billingsley - both locally and
internationally.

The partnership and focus on the reining community has created a relationship that
surpasses normal bounds. For Welch, providing "beyond the call of duty" service to reiners
has been a priority. "I try to take care of these folks as though they were my own," he noted.

"Sometimes that means I deliver trucks to a person's ranch." He laughed and added, "I
know where they live!"

He sums it up, "At Billingsley Ford, the Southwest Reining Horse Association
customers get VIP treatment and they have priority with this dealership!"
The Billingsley family has been committed to delivering the highest possible level
of customer service since Travis Billingsley opened his first dealership in Lufkin, Texas
fifty-one years ago. Travis's sons Mike and Craig joined the company after graduating
from the University of Oklahoma. With the addition of Billingsley Ford of Lawton in 1997,
Billingsley Ford Lincoln Mercury of Duncan in 1999, Billingsley Hyundai in 2006 and
Billingsley Lincoln Mercury at the Lawton location in 2009, the family-owned company
has grown to employ over 200 persons.
